I come from a family where my parents weren’t able to have an education past elementary school level, as a result, they have instilled in me the importance of education and how beneficial it is to my future. Being surrounded by this mentality has made it a dream of mine to attend Johns Hopkins, a school that will pave the way to a career in the medical field.
