Background Info about me:
Originally, I was not planning to go to college after high school because I was spooked about Covid. During this time, I worked in the food industry, retail, and construction. After wanting to get back into technology but uncertain if I even could learn with the amount of Traumatic Brain Injuries I had and the time I took off, I decided to risk 500 dollars and take a class. Now I've been full time since Spring of 2023!

- I am actively involved in the youth ministry at my church and I've been programming lights and helping as a techy since I was in 6th grade, weekly and for special events (Christmas, Easter, etc...).
- I am an Eagle Scout who still actively stays in connection with his troop.
- I have worked my entire time during community college. My first semester 35 hours a week and this semester in the work-study program at NVCC 20 hours a week.
- I am actively involved in helping others at my community college in my work, being part of leadership in our STEM club, and by investing time to assist others struggling with their programming or other tech related problems.
- I have had 8 major Traumatic Brain Injuries, one of which I received at the beginning of the semester and have been able to maintain my GPA despite these difficulties.
- I have participated in the Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition as part of the main team for all of NVCC.
