If you’d like, share any extracurricular activities, professional details, or personal experiences you would like TSN partners to know about you. Responses can be as brief or long as you’d like. | As a Presidential Scholar at my college, I've had the privilege to sharpen my leadership skills and apply them to various events and opportunities orchestrated by our Director. This program has been instrumental in my career preparation, leadership cultivation, academic research, and civic engagement endeavors. One transformative experience was attending the HACU conference, which centers around Hispanic institutions. They strive to build a better future in this field and this trip inspired me to begin a passion of helping my own Hispanic community. I am very active in my college as I volunteer and attend events to be involved in my community. Additionally, my involvement in women's activism is a cornerstone of my ethos. For nearly six years, I've been an integral part of "Women of Tomorrow," an organization that pairs mentors with mentees, fostering empowerment and guiding women along their educational and professional journeys. I have the pleasure of interning for the organization under the director where I know I can make a big impact. Moreover, I'm an active member of "She the People," a club at my community college that prioritizes amplifying women's voices and promoting empowerment. | ||||||||||
