If you’d like, share any extracurricular activities, professional details, or personal experiences you would like TSN partners to know about you. Responses can be as brief or long as you’d like. | Hello, I have dedicated a significant portion of my time to volunteering at my church, contributing to various events, fundraising and activities. One of the most impactful events I helped organize was a fundraising effort followed by distributing food to the homeless in the city. This initiative became a regular occurrence, happening every season, and it was incredibly rewarding to witness the positive impact it had on the community. In addition to my involvement in community service, I took on the responsibility of teaching children at the church every Friday, fostering an environment of learning and mentorship. These experiences have not only strengthened my sense of community but also instilled in me a deep sense of compassion and responsibility. Beyond my church activities, I actively participated in extracurricular programs to broaden my horizons. One notable experience was my engagement with the legal system through the 'Students in Court' program at the Supreme Court in Queens. This opportunity allowed me to witness the intricacies of the legal process, expanding my understanding of the judicial system and its impact on society. Furthermore, I delved into the realm of technology by participating in a coding activity where I acquired the skills to build a website. This hands-on experience not only enhanced my technological proficiency but also opened up new avenues for creative expression and problem-solving. On the physical front, I explored various sports, including soccer, basketball, and softball, fostering a well-rounded approach to personal development. These activities not only kept me physically active but also instilled values of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. In essence, my diverse range of experiences, from community service and teaching to legal engagement and technological exploration, has shaped me into an individual with a holistic perspective on life. I have done much more than what is written and I am eager to continue exploring new opportunities for personal and community growth. | ||||||||||
